Make Your Own Shower Eucalyptus Bouquet

With cold and flu season upon us, hanging a eucalyptus bouquet in the shower can offer some relief. The combined steam and plant oils will help loosen mucus, relieve congestion, and inflammation and will help you feel better sooner. Even if not ill, a eucalyptus bouquet can be enjoyed year round as it is a refreshing way to start the day, and invigorating way to end it.

Creating A Eucalyptus Bouquet

Step 1: Prepare Eucalyptus Branches.

Prep the branches by trimming to desired length.

Make sure to remove leaves 4-6 inches from the bottom.

Using a rolling pin or something similar, roll over the leaves to begin releasing the fragrance.

Step 2: Secure the bouquet with twine.

Using twine, secure the bouquet. Be sure to leave enough twine to connect the bouquet to the shower arm.

Step 3: Hang the bundle in the shower.

You can attach the twine to the arm of the shower or use a waterproof adhesive hook. Be sure not hang the bouquet directly in the water.
